DEI Donald Part Two
Wokeness Abounding.
It seems odd that Trump keeps banging on about DEI when his own administration shows so much evidence of affirmative action.
Stephen Miller
Stephen Miller is another person with mental problems being given gainful employment by a compassionate Trump.
I am currently re-reading Ian Kershaw’s monumental two-volume biography of Hitler. I am well into volume two and madly underlining passages that remind me of Trump’s USA. I recently read Peter Longerich’s biography of Joseph Goebbels. Again – a lot of underlining.
It seems passing strange that Stephen Miller should remind me so much of Goebbels and Adolf Eichmann. Those two men were instrumental in envisaging and carrying out the practical tasks essential to the extermination of Jews throughout Europe. Stephen Miller’s family is of Eastern European Jewish descent through his mother and father, who were grandchildren of Jews who escaped the Russian pogroms and the Holocaust.
Miller began identifying with ideologies associated with conservatism in the seventh grade. Former classmates have reported that Miller enjoyed contrarianism and confrontations. The conservative political commentator Larry Elder said that Miller had read Ayn Rand and The Federalist Papers for pleasure in high school. I read The Federalist Papers in the Sixth Form at Sir Thomas Rich’s grammar school in Gloucester, England in 1966 but it did not turn me into a right wing zealot. It was part of my A Level course. I have never read Ayn Rand and do not intend to.
In high school, Miller argued that there was no such thing as racism and that racial segregation did not exist, because it was not legally imposed. Racism by nod, wink and nudge-nudge is OK, apparently. In strategic plan meetings at his high school district, Little Stevie denounced bilingual education, multicultural activities, and announcements in Spanish. At times, he copied the look of Robert De Niro as a mobster. He dressed up like the movies for trips to Las Vegas and was a skilled craps player. Skilled crap.
Dormmates at Duke University said Miller described himself as a libertarian. Through the Duke Conservative Union, Miller met and subsequently praised Richard B Spencer, who later became known as a white supremacist, neo-Nazi, antisemitic conspiracy theorist.
Writing for a Christian publication, Miller defended the conservative politician William Bennett who had suggested that aborting every African American would reduce the crime rate. In July 2020, the Southern Poverty Law Center added Miller to its database of extremists.
Miller supported the idea of Donald Trump running for president as early as 2014. After Trump won the 2016 election, Miller retained his role as national policy director for the transition. He led much of the policy work to prepare for Trump’s first one hundred days. Trump chose Miller to write his inaugural address. Miller had a big influence on Trump’s immigration policy, including the practice of separating children from their parents. Miller wrote the presidential executive order instituting the ban on travellers from Muslim countries.
In May 2025, Axios reported that Miller and secretary of homeland security Kristi Noem had set an arrest quota of three thousand people per day.
In February 2020, Miller married Katie Rose Waldman, the press secretary to then vice president Mike Pence.
The happy couple have three children. Katie Miller was hired as an advisor to Elon Musk during his involvement with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). She worked for him on a full-time basis after leaving the White House in May 2025. Her role was described as that of a “chief Elon wrangler.” Her work for Musk occurred after Musk and Stephen Miller had a public spat. This led to speculation about the nature of her role and its potential impact on her husband’s position. Miller announced in August 2025 that she had left her job with Musk to start a podcast.
Katie and Stephen Miller have presented a united front in public appearances and interviews. Any suggestion of a sexual relationship between Musk and Mrs Miller is detestable scurrility. The Millers’ support for Israeli war crimes in Gaza have incensed Cenk Kadir Uygur of the Young Turks podcast. Cenk was born in Istanbul. Katie Miller has threatened to denaturalise and deport him.
Linda McMahon,
Linda McMahon, Trump’s Secretary for Education, came from the world of professional wrestling. Here is another example of Trump supporting ethnic minorities. She is of Welsh stock (Linda M Edwards).
She does not behave as if she has had any education herself, although she got a degree in French. Her appearances before congressional committees have been embarrassing. Another heart-warming example of the dear leader providing succour for the intellectually challenged.
Linda M Edwards, at the age of 13, met Vince McMahon, who was then 16. They married on August 26, 1966, when she was 17, and Vince was 21. Financially, the couple fared poorly for several years and, despite her husband working at a quarry, briefly received food stamps. In 1976, after a series of failed business ventures, including financing Evel Knievel, McMahon and her husband filed for bankruptcy. She understands fine well how hard life can be if one is not a rich CEO.
The happy couple climbed out of the financial slough of despond through wrestling. McMahon became president in 1993 and CEO of Titan Sports in 1997. The company became known as the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and later World Wrestling Entertainment ( WWE). The company’s explosive growth and the way it transformed the wrestling industry caused some observers to label her and Vince “business geniuses”. In October 2024, a lawsuit alleged that the McMahons fostered a culture of sexual abuse within the WWF. She has denied the claims.
Through WWE, the McMahons were major donors to the Donald J. Trump Foundation, giving $4 million in 2007 and $5 million in 2009.
In January 2007, Vince McMahon started a feud with Trump, Trump challenged McMahon to a fight himself, but they agreed to have proxies fighting on their behalf. The man whose wrestler lost would have his head shaved bald. After the contract signing Trump pushed McMahon over a table in the ring onto his head after McMahon provoked Trump by poking him in his shoulders. McMahon fiddled with Trump’s tie and flicked Trump’s nose. Trump slapped McMahon across the face. McMahon was then restrained.
Kristi Noem
Another ethnic minority represented here - Norwegian. Pining for the fjords.
Secretary for Homeland Security, Kristy Noem, has political experience as governor of South Dakota but seems to have mental health problems. She likes dressing up. She was crowned South Dakota Snow Queen in 1990. She achieved notoriety for revealing in a published memoir that she shot her pet puppy in the face and then killed her family’s male goat, because he was “disgusting, musky, rancid”. So far she has not shot Donald Trump for similar reasons. Noem also wrote that she met North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. Her spokesperson said the claim was an error and would be expunged from future editions. Noem also claimed that she was once “slated to meet with French president Emmanuel Macron”, but called off the meeting because he made a “very pro-Hamas and anti-Israel comment to the press”; the French government had no record of any of this.
Rumour has it that Trump gave her the Homeland Security job as a favour to Corey Lewandowski. In September 2025, New York reported that a romantic relationship between Noem and Lewandowski is ongoing.
Like Rash Patel and his country squeeze, Kristi and Corey like to fly at the taxpayer’s expense. The loving couple had tried to arrange to buy ten Boeing 737 aircraft from Spirit Airlines. Allegedly, they intended to use the jets to expand deportation flights – and for personal travel. The plan fell through when it was discovered that the airline didn’t actually own the planes – and that the aircraft lacked engines.
Noem’s appearance has changed remarkably over the years and she has become one of the most prominent examples of so-called “Mar-a-Lago face”, a cosmetic surgery trend among conservative women, and what has been called Republican makeup.
Tulsi Gabbard
Tulsi Gabbard is a glaring example of Trump’s wokeness. What an example of diversity she is! She became the first Samoan American and first Hindu American member of the US Congress.
On top of that she has strong military connections. Gabbard joined the Hawaii Army National Guard in 2003 and was deployed to Iraq from 2004 to 2005, where she served with a medical unit, and received the Combat Medical Badge. In 2007, Gabbard completed the officer training program at the Alabama Military Academy. She went to Kuwait in 2008 as an Army Military Police officer. In 2015, while also serving in Congress, Gabbard became a major with the Hawaii Army National Guard. In 2020, she transferred to the US Army Reserve and was promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel in 2021.
See how tolerant Trump can be! Tulsi ticks a lot of the boxes for what Trump dislikes, but still he made her Director of National Intelligence. She served in the military; she used to be a Democrat; she was married to a man with an Hispanic-sounding name; she was born in the same state as Barack Hussein Obama (is Hawaii even in the US? Has anyone seen her birth certificate?) The ultimate tolerance shown by the dear leader was when she had the gall to contradict him about Iranian nuclear capabilities and she still kept her job.
She has never been a beauty queen.
Pamela Jo Bondi
Trump showed his support for the Italian community by appointing Pam Bondi as his Attorney General. She was not his first choice. The dear leader had initially followed his instincts for compassionate support of the fallen by appointing Matt Gaetz as his attorney general. In December 2024, the House Ethics Committee released a report which found evidence that Gaetz paid for sex—including with a 17-year-old—and abused illegal drugs during his tenure in the House of Representatives. Fun fact: Gaetz’s mother’s maiden name was Quertermous.
Bondi was very touchy during her sessions with the Oversight Committee and sensitive about her professional status.
She is well-qualified as a lawyer. In 2010, Bondi was elected Attorney General of Florida, becoming the first woman to serve in the position. She was re-elected in 2014, becoming the first two-term Republican attorney general in Florida history.
Bondi was the lead attorney general in an unsuccessful lawsuit seeking to overturn the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (known as Obamacare). In the lawsuit the state of Florida and 26 other states argued that the individual mandate provision of the ACA violates the United States Constitution.
Bondi defended Amendment 2, a 2008 amendment to the Florida Constitution banning same-sex marriage, against legal challenges on behalf of the state.
In 2013, Bondi came under scrutiny following a campaign donation to her from Donald Trump. Before the donation, Bondi had received at least 22 fraud complaints regarding Trump University. And Justice for All, a political action committee established by Bondi to support her re-election, received a $25,000 donation from the Donald J Trump Foundation. Bondi declined to join the lawsuit against Trump University.
In 2019, after her final term as Florida attorney general, Bondi was hired by Ballard Partners and she began working as a registered foreign agent and lobbyist for Qatar. She also became a lobbyist for KGL KSCC, a company incorporated in Kuwait. Bondi was lobbying for the Kuwaiti company to help with a case of alleged extortion.
In November 2019, she was hired to help the White House during Trump’s first impeachment proceedings. Her position was described as being to “attack the process” of the impeachment inquiry. On January 17, 2020, Bondi was named as part of Trump’s defense team for the Senate impeachment trial.
Bondi became a vocal supporter of Trump’s efforts to overturn his 2020 defeat. Bondi supported Trump’s false claim that there was large-scale voter fraud in Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Fun fact – one of Pammy’s husbands was called Scott Fitzgerald. I wonder if he was invited to the Gatsby party at Mar-a-Lago .
Pammy has never been a beauty queen.
Lindsey Halligan
Lindsey Halligan is a former beauty queen. Her parents were audiologists. Pardon?
Halligan is encountering a good deal of mockery from lunatic radical leftists and communists who accuse her of incompetence and deficient intelligence. It is true that she worked as a Deco Model in 2012 and competed in the Miss Colorado USA pageant in 2009 and 2010, reaching the semifinals and earning third runner-up, respectively. Not top girl even in the pageant world although she is a stunner. Am I allowed to say that?
Lindsey has had an education. She graduated from Regis University with a bachelor’s degree in politics and broadcast journalism and from the University of Miami School of Law in 2013. At the University of Miami, Halligan interned for the Innocence Project (a legal organization that works to exonerate the wrongly convicted through DNA testing) and the Miami-Dade County public defender’s office.
Those were the good guy pro bono bleeding heart jobs. Once that was out of the way her main legal experience was representing insurance companies against lawsuits filed by homeowners and corporate plaintiffs.
In November 2021, Halligan met Donald Trump at his golf club. Several months later Trump named her to his legal team. Halligan told Politico that she was present at Mar-a-Lago for the FBI search of the property for classified documents that Trump was alleged to be holding. She was involved in Trump v. United States, a lawsuit requesting a special master to review the material seized by the bureau in the search. Halligan remained with Trump after two lawyers who worked with her resigned.
Other jobs Halligan did for Trump a included a defamation lawsuit against CNN that was dismissed; an effort to defend his eligibility under the Fourteenth Amendment to run for president; an attempt to dissuade the DOJ from indicting Trump over his handling of classified documents. Halligan reviewed draft executive orders, briefing materials, and press releases to identify “inconsistencies and potential legal risks”.
Trump complained to Pam Bondi that not enough progress was being made with vindictive prosecutions of his enemies like James Comey and Laetitia James. Erik Siebert, then the interim US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, resigned after refusing to bring criminal cases against James or Comey. Trump announced the nomination of Halligan who has no prosecutorial experience
Halligan took over Virginia’s Eastern District and and went completely rogue, ditching any coordination with the attorney general or her team. Halligan intended to ask a grand jury to indict Comey, despite an internal memorandum arguing that she should not bring charges against him. On September 25, with only days remaining before the five-year statute of limitations would have expired, Halligan signed Comey’s indictment. In October, Halligan indicted Letitia James for alleged mortgage fraud. On October 20, Comey’s attorneys filed a motion for dismissal, alleging that Halligan’s interim appointment was carried out in violation of federal law.
In October 2025, Lawfare reporter Anna Bower published a Signal exchange, in which Halligan raised complaints about the media’s coverage of the James indictment. James filed a request with the judge asking to bar federal prosecutors from speaking with the media about evidence in the case. Echoes here of when Halligan was targeted as part of the Iranian hacking effort.
Despite dear leader’s saintly efforts to support the needy and challenged, things do not seem to be going well.

“So far she has not shot Donald Trump for similar reasons”. LOL. A really interesting - and fun - read, Michael. They are a motley crew - The Don really knows how to pick ‘em.
